Howto enable Internet-sharing in OSX

To enable Internet-Sharing on a Mac (10.4.x in my case) follow those steps:

Sharing host:

  1. System-Preferences
  2. Sharing
  3. Internet
  4. Define the network device you want to share
  5. Select “Start”

Host without Internet-Access:

  • Define your Gateway to the IP of the Sharing Host
